The Boynton Collection

Based on the popular board books, the digital version of Boynton’s classics come to life by wiggling, snorting, oinking, and more. These four titles are interactive with “pop-up” style animation, but are not over stimulating, and they are short enough to make great bedtime stories.

PLAY: Try acting out these books on a second reading. Stomp, clap, and dance to “Barnyard Dance” and practice your animal sounds in “Moo, Baa, La la la!”

Based on the popular board book series, this app features illustrations with bold colors with simple lines sure to win over any toddler. All four books are lightly animated and interactive, allowing the curious child to drag items around the water scene, tap to hear words or tap to name objects, like clouds that are floating by.

READ: Try recording your own narration as you read. Then you can play back the story and you child can listen to his/her own voice. This is great for early readers who are still learning about pacing. (To access setting options you must be in the story, then click the arrow in the bottom center of the screen, and choose “voice”.)
